Aomori Adventure Tour
Post typhoon adventures in Aomori prefecture.
This was my first attempt to cross through the Yagen Valley in Shimokita-hanto, however due to damage on the road we reversed our course, caught a ferry and travelled south through Aomori.
Unfortunately the route we plotted on the fly ran us into a metal fenced off mountain road, and then some absolutely terrible weather.
We were able to find a path out, and thankfully we were able to find a local onsen to stay out of the bad weather overnight.
