Surley Disc Trucker
My touring bike.
My third bike was the Surley Disc Trucker. Note that the bike has been re-designed a little since.
In preparation for my first long distance tour across Hokkaido I bought the Disc Trucker. This enabled the ability to mount a rack and to carry panniers so I could carry necessary gear for the trip. In addition the gear range meant hill climbs would be easier.
This is the bike I’ve ridden the most out of all of my bikes, and it continues to serve me well.
